Walt Disney World Trip Update

We're staying on Walt Disney World property this year which opens up great resort perks like unlimited Disney transportation and "Magic Your Way" extra hours in the parks before and after the regular park hours. As part of the "Magic Your Way" vacation plan, each day one of the Disney Theme Parks opens an hour early or stays open up to an extra three hours late, so Guests of Disney Resorts have the opportunity to get extra time in the parks. The trip includes 4 days worth of park tickets, and it also includes Disney meal vouchers for lunch and dinner each day (4 lunches and 4 dinners in the parks). This is the filet mignon of Disney trips which culminates with a band performance in the Magic Kingdom's Share a Dream Come True Parade on March 3rd.

Trip dates may be viewed on the band calendar or by clicking "Band Calendar" from the website homepage. Trip payments are now being accepted online and/or in the bandroom lockbox. Trip payments may be made for any amount and in any combination of online/lockbox, however payments totaling $100 per passenger must be recorded by September, 2007 so that we may reserve our rooms and transportation. For example, it's okay to pay $25 online now, $37 in the lockbox at band camp, and $38 throughout september because deposits totaling $100 have been received by the deadline of September 30th.

The total trip package is $570 per person based on quad occupancy. This is a great price when you look at all of the inclusions (tickets, meals, transportation, security) and the fact that we are staying on Disney property. Adults can get that same rate and all of the same perks if they elect quads, but the price will be slightly more if they elect triple or double occupancy rooms.
