Linda Zickefoose

I am a Parent Specialist for the Title I Program wth Randolph County Schools. This is my 33rd year working with Federal Programs. The county-wide Parent Resource Center, sponsored by the Title I Program, is located at Homestead School. The Parent Center provides resources for parents to receive information on homework, academics and discipline. It also provides a place for parents to come and talk about problems they are having with their children and to learn more about the difficult task of raising children. The Center provides videos, games, and books on parenting issues. I provide workshops and volunteer training sessions for the Elementary Schools in Randolph County. Home contacts through school refferals are also a part of my job responsibilties.

I received a BA degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College and am a licensed social worker. I am very active in various organizations and at present serve as President of the Board of Directors of the Tygart Valley Community Library and Treasurer of Mt. View Church of the Nazarene.
