On behalf of Harrison County Schools' Music Educators, I want to welcome you to our web page. It represents over 29 music educators from 18 schools as well as over 1500 students who participate in our music programs. Harrison County is located in north central West Virginia.

The purpose of Harrison County music educators is to advance and strengthen the cause of music education in Harrison County. We are proud of the accomplishments of our teachers and students. Our teachers are well represented and active in professional organizations such as ASTA, WVMEA, ACDA and MENC. We are also very proud of the many students who are chosen to represent our county at All State, All County Festivals and Regional Solo and Ensemble Festivals and ultimately grow to include music in their daily adult lives.

We provide and host All County music festivals each year, featuring five performing ensembles including choruses, bands and an orchestra.

As Music Contact Person of our county, I am proud to be associated with such a dedicated group of educators. We work extremely hard to provide the many and varied opportunities for musical growth to all of our students. I hope you will find our web page to be helpful, informative and resourceful.
