Friday, October 16, 2009 is our Autism Awareness Friday. Please bring your quarter ($.25). Our attire for this day is show your Bulldog Spirit wear Green, White, & Gold.
Fall School Pictures will be taken on Tuesday,
October 6, 2009.
Thursday, October 8, 2009 from 4pm-7pm will be our first Parent Teacher Conference for the 2009-2010 school year. Please be sure to sign the Parent/Teacher Conference form and send it back to school by Friday, October 2, 2009, if you would like to meet with your child’s teacher.
Friday, October 9, 2009 is
an Instructional Support Day for Doddridge County Schools.
There will be no school
for students on this day.
Our next PTO Meeting/Fall Carnival Planning Meeting will
be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 6:00 pm. Please come and help!!
Fall Carnival will be Saturday, November
7, 2009 from 4:00-7:00 P.M.
The 1st 9 week grading period will end on Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Report cards will be sent home on Wednesday, November 4, 2009.
SCHOOL BANK…There will be a representative from the West Union bank at the school on October 28, 2009 for students wishing to put money into their savings account.
Wednesday, October 28, 2009 will be our First Positive Behavior Support incentive. For this incentive we will be having a “Game Day.” Any child that has 4 or less reminders and no referrals to the office may participate. More information will be coming later.

Applications for Free or Reduced Price Meals must be completed and approved each year for benefit eligibility. As Of October 1st, all meals served will be billed at the paid meal price unless you received a letter from the Doddridge County Child Nutrition Office stating your free or reduced price meal eligibility for this school year. If you believe your family is eligible, but you did not receive this letter, please complete and return an application immediately. Applications are available at each school and you may apply at any time during the school year. Thank you in advance for your prompt attention. If you have any questions, direct them to Bonnie Allman or Deana Clark at 873-2322.

Parents would you please put your child’s name on their lunch pail, book bag and in their jackets and coats. If their belongings get lost or misplaced and are found this will helps us return them. Also, this will cut down on our lost and found pile. Thank you for your cooperation!!! Feel free anytime to come into the office and check our lost and found basket.
