Message to DCES Parent(s), 

      The Doddridge County Elementary School Staff would like to welcome you and your family to our  school community. We encourage parents, grandparents, and the community to become involved in the education of our children.  There will be many opportunities for you and your family to be involved with our school.

      Establishing a good communication system between home and school is a top priority for the staff  at Doddridge County  Elementary School.  Your positive attitude and support of the educational process will help to foster your child’s attitude that will assist in providing him/her with good study habits, a positive outlook on education, and the opportunities to be  successful. 

We welcome your questions, suggestions, and volunteering to make Doddridge County Elementary a community endeavor.  If you need to have a meeting with a teacher, you should attempt to schedule that meeting at a time convenient to all parties not to interrupt the instruction of the students.

           It will be through this joint effort that Doddridge County Elementary School will become recognized  as a place where “Excellence in Education” is the standard practice.
