Below is a list of the March
fundraisers:
AVON – will begin on
Monday, March 1st (Order forms will be sent
home by student)
Orders and money due – Tuesday, March 9th
Delivered – Thursday, March 18th
RADA - will begin on Thursday,
March 11th (Order forms will be sent home by
student)
Orders and money due – Thursday, March 18th
Delivery date – To be announced
AUCTION – Carl Crowder,
Auctioneer - will be held on Friday, March 12th
Location: Capital High
Time: 7PM – 9:30PM
Asking parents to
donate baked goods (individually wrapped) for the concession
stand (no peanut products). Please send the baked goods to
school with your student or bring the evening of the
auction.
CAR
WASH – Saturday, March 20th
Locations: Kanawha City,
West Side and Elkview (Place to be determined)
Time:
10AM – 3PM
OAKBROOK FAVORITES – (ZAPPA SNACKS, AUNTIE ANNE”S PRETZELS
AND OTHER GOODIES) –
will begin on Monday, March 29th

Wednesday, April 7th
Delivered – Approx. 2 weeks after company receives order
For parents not familiar with
the auction, Carl Crowder and his staff bring his “auction
house” to us. He brings all the merchandise. If you have
not attended one of his auctions, we encourage you to plan
to be there. Also, mention the auction to friends, family,
neighbors and co-workers. More people there – more money
for the band! He has great merchandise for a great
price! It’s just like shopping off of TV; but you see the
product first-hand !
Also, on May 1st the
band boosters will be having a Longaberger Basket Bingo at
the Morris Memorial Church on MacCorkle Avenue, SE, Kanawha
City. We are asking all parents and supporters of the band
to sponsor a basket. If you and/or your company would like
to sponsor a basket, please email us with the donation
amount and send the check to: Donna Michael, 4906 Staunton
Avenue Access, Charleston, WV 25304 or drop a check off to
Mr. Scott at the school. In the RE: on the
check, please write in “Longaberger Basket”. Please
remit all donations no later than Tuesday, March 16th
to ensure the delivery of the baskets in time.
If you know of a company, other
than your personal one, that would like to sponsor a basket,
please email the contact information (ASAP) to us and we
will contact the company representative with an official
letter from the band boosters.

band. Daily Mail Champions for the sixth straight
year,
and to Casey Jarvis, Miss Kanawha
Majorette.
