Capital High Band Boosters, Inc., has a strong tradition of providing support to the Capital High School's Jazz, Marching, and Concert bands.

Incorporated in 1989, the Capital High School Band Boosters promote the band programs in the Kanawha County public schools and supports the band directors, school officials, students, and parents as well as participates in fund raising. Recognizing scientific research that music training in general can spur brain development, the Boosters encourage all students to participate in the band programs.

Who can be a Band Booster? Every parent who has a child enrolled in a band class is a Band Booster! Anyone else who has the desire can also become a booster by paying a small annual membership fee ($1). The Boosters communicate through mail notices and newsletters. Post those newsletters on your refrigerator so you don't miss any dates!

The band boosters have been successful in many fund raising efforts in the past.  However, we advocate that all students and parents continue to support the fund raising efforts to ensure future fees are not necessary.

The boosters meet the fourth Tuesday of each month.
