Our reading skills improve with the reading of longer, more interesting story selections.

In math, we learn to count to 1,000 and do addition and subtraction problems with larger numbers which require regrouping. We multiplication facts through the fives.

We strive to improve our language skills which helps us to write more interesting stories.

Favorite classics such as Tom Sawyer, Heidi, and The Secret Garden are read during storytime. We attend plays which are presented in the area.

Areas of studying science, social studies, and health center around themes found in our reading series and seasonal units.
