Belington Elementary is once again competing in the West Virginia Children's Book Award contest.  

     We are in the process of reading and voting and will have our school results up in Spring 2010!

    The 2008-2009 WV State Winners were:

   First Place:  Maybelle in the Soup by Katie Speck
  Second Place:  Henry's Freedom Box: A Story of the Underground Railroad by Ellen Levine
  Third Place:  Rufus the Scrub Does Not Wear a Tutu by Jamie McEwen
