Belington Elementary School held their Fall Carnival on November 14, 2009.  There were games, food, a cake walk, door prizes, and an auction.  The highlight of the day's festivities was the Royal Court Coronation at 12:00 noon.  Students competed by a "penny a vote" for the titles of Crown Bearer, Flower Girl, First through Fifth Grade Prince and Princess and King and Queen.  Everyone did a fabulous job, and all money collected went to support the school library/media center.  Last year's Fall Carnival Queen and King, as well as the current "Miss Barbour County"  were on hand to present the trophies and crown the king and queen.  The day was a huge success and fun was had by all.
