School Mission Statement

It is the mission of Barnes Learning Center to ensure that the county mission of "All means all, and that is all that all means" is met. It is also our personalized mission to offer educational choices and alternatives which will encourage the development of individuals whose educational needs are not being met by traditional programs.

Alternative Learning Center Mission Statement

The Marion County Alternative Education Center is committed to continuing the education introduced and implemented in the student's home school; to enhance that education with the goal of preparing the students for successful reentry into their home high school; and to enable the student to graduate with the skills necessary to enter society as a responsibility and successful citizen.
