Minutes

The Barbour County Board of Education met in special session at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2007, at the Board of Education Office, 105 South Railroad Street, Philippi, West Virginia.

Patrick Jones, President, presided; Brian Kisamore, Jerry Phillips, Greg Nestor and Brad Robinson, Jr., Members, and Deede Lundeen, Secretary, were present. Also in attendance were: David Taylor, Ed Lanham, Sandy Spotloe, Bill Kelley, Melissa Kelley, Susie Higgins, John Higgins, Terry Denniston, David Shelton, Whitni Kines, Jeff Kittle, Glenn Sweet, Gene Matlick, and Doug Marquette.

Mr. Jones called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Mr. Robinson led the pledge to the flag.

An Introduction was made by Dr. Lundeen.

At 6:05 p.m. Mr. Gary Ray, Executive Director of WVSSAC and Ms. Kelly Geddis, Assistant Executive Director of WVSSAC made a presentation with suggestions for upgrading the Philip Barbour High School Outdoor Athletic Complex

A motion was made by Mr. Nestor, seconded by Mr. Phillips and passed five (5) to zero (0) to adjourn.

The meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
