1.         Recommendation:   Approve budget adjustments. – Enclosure B

 

2.         Recommendation:  Approve the final total of the November 28, 2007 net payroll and related taxes and withholdings in the amount of $583,462.43 – Enclosure C

 

3.         Recommendation:  Approve payment of bills for the period of November 21, 2007 through November 28, 2007 at a total expenditure of $65,225.37. - Enclosure D

 

4.         Recommendation:  Authorize the December 15, 2007 payroll for all regular extended and special programs payroll and federal withholdings not to exceed the amount of $655,000.00 to be released in accordance with Federal Law.  (Refer to Enclosure D)

 

5.         Recommendation:  Authorize the payment of utility bills due before next board meeting not to exceed $20,000.00. (Refer to Enclosure D)

 

6.         Recommendation:  Approve/Confirm fund raising activity requests as submitted (all candy sales will be done outside school hours) – Enclosure E

 

Belington Elementary (Faculty Senate) – projected revenue $300.00; (5^th Grade) - $1000.00, $1000.00, $1000.00; (Office) - $300.00;

Philip Barbour (FBLA) – projected revenue $2500.00

Volga-Century Elementary (PTO) – projected revenue $150.00

 

7.         Recommendation:  Approve/Confirm use of buildings and/or grounds – Enclosure F

 

Belington Middle on December 8, 2007 – requested by Kim Suder for family Christmas party.

Philip Barbour High School on December 18, 2007 – requested by Steve Lee for Philippi Elementary School Christmas program.

 

8.         Recommendation:  Approve the bid submitted by Jeff Sickler for snow removal at all schools during school year 2007-2008.  Note:  This bid was the only one provided. – Enclosure G

9.         Recommendation:  Approve the Child Nutrition program to write off the names and make adjustments/credits of students with outstanding lunch bills that should have been free or later changed to free. – Enclosure H

13.       Recommendation:  Employ Jana Miller as Director of Student Services. Employment is contingent upon proper certification and clearance of criminal convictions as defined in WV Codes §18-5-15c(d) and §15-2-24(d).
